4×4 MIMO Antennas for Aircrafts, Helicopters, and Large UAV Systems
Southwest Antennas has announced two new antennas (1055-377, 1055-378) to meet the demand for multi-port MIMO antenna solutions for medium-range aircrafts, performing ISR missions. These antennas are built off of Southwest Antennas’ existing, field-proven MIMO antenna technology with design improvements specifically for these new mission requirements.
Their engineering team has added a new flange mount base for secure mounting, in addition to reinforcing the antennas for the higher altitude and airspeed achieved by medium-range military turboprop aircraft that are commonly used for surveillance, patrol, search and rescue, and transport operations.
With a conservative airspeed rating of up to 374 MPH, these MIMO antennas can be utilized by aircraft, helicopters, or large UAV systems. Easily add aircraft into your tactical MIMO radio network with our compact, easy-to-install antenna solution.
Available in both 2.1 – 2.5 GHz S-Band and 4.4 – 5.0 GHz C-Band versions, these antennas are rated for 50 Watts of RF input power per port, and are available with 4 RF ports for use with 4×4 MIMO radio systems.
