MVG to Showcase 5G Antenna Measurement Techniques at APS-URSI 2019

The IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (APS-URSI 2019) will take place in Atlanta, Georgia from 9-12 July 2019. MVG is going to showcase innovative antenna measurement techniques at their booth. The STARLAB 50 GHz is a multi-probe antenna test system designed to meet the upcoming testing challenges of 5G antennas. It measures several parameters of frequencies from 650 MHz to 50 GHz including gain, directivity, beamwidth, efficiency, radiation pattern, TRP, TIS, EIRP, and EIS, of antennas sized 45 cm diameter or less. MVG will have this on-site at the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and ready to test the latest 5G antennas in development. They will also demonstrate its flagship 5G antenna measurement capabilities during the 3-day exhibition.

The StarLab 50 GHz is one of several antenna measurement systems set in MVG’s Atlanta, GA offices, with which they use to test various products. This antenna measurement lab is one of 4 MVG test labs worldwide that allows testing of an antenna under development with high accuracy and speed.
