2 GHz to 18 GHz Cavity Backed Spiral Antenna OBS-20180
$1235
The OBS-20180 is a compact, cavity-backed spiral antenna designed for high-performance transmission and reception across the 2.0 GHz to18.0 GHz frequency range. With moderate gain and VSWR, this circularly polarized antenna provides an excellent impedance match and radiation pattern.
Key features of this antenna include the ability to receive both linearly and circularly polarized signals, with linear gain approximately 3 dB lower than circular gain. Its low-profile design, planar aperture, no phase center offset, flexibility for carrying, and lightweight and symmetrical radiation beam width ensure consistent performance across the entire frequency band. The antenna’s outermost dimensions are a diameter of 68mm and a height of 50mm.
With all these benefits, it is ideal for a variety of demanding applications. Firstly, this antenna is particularly effective in short-range, high-bandwidth communication systems, where higher frequencies allow for faster data transmission. This makes it an excellent choice for high-speed wireless data links and microwave communication systems. In addition, it is also well-suited for precision radar and imaging applications, providing high resolution for ground surveillance radars, avionics, and synthetic aperture radar systems. In electronic warfare (EW), this antenna excels in jamming enemy communication systems and gathering signals intelligence (SIGINT). Its higher frequency range enables enhanced performance in defense and security operations, making it a critical component in modern electronic warfare strategies.https://www.rfecho.com/product-category/rf-antenna/cavity-backed-spiral-antenna/
